Athletic T-Shirt Mockup PSD

This mockup pack for Photoshop features an athletic, stretch fit t shirt with raglan sleeve cut and flat seam stitching. This high quality cotton elastane shirt is perfect for fitness brands or anybody mocking up custom designs. Unlike most t-shirt mockup packs you find online which feature standard, loose fit cotton t-shirts this mockup has been created specifically for active wear.

When you download this package you will find two .psd files for both front and back views. After you open one of the files in Photoshop you can replace the sample graphics on the shirt with your own custom design and change the color of the t-shirt material to literally any shade you want.

How to update the design

  1. Open 'Athletic T-Shirt Mockup Front.psd' in Photoshop CS6 or newer
  2. Double click on the Smart Object layer thumbnail (labelled 'Edit this Smart Object')
  3. Replace the placeholder artwork with your own graphics
  4. Save and close the Smart Object
  5. Repeat for 'Athletic T-Shirt Mockup Back.psd'

How to change the t-shirt color

  1. Open 'Athletic T-Shirt Mockup Front.psd' or 'Athletic T-Shirt Mockup Back.psd'
  2. Select the Adjustment Layer labelled 'Change Color'
  3. Open the Properties window and adjust the Hue and Saturation sliders
  4. Select the Adjustment Layer labelled 'Change Brightness'
  5. Adjust the brightness slider

Tip: turn off the 'Change Color' layer and set the 'Change Brightness' brightness slider to either minimum or maximum for a black or white shirt respectively.

Note on Displacement Maps

If you get an error when updating the smart object, or if the design is not conforming to the surface of the t-shirt, you probably need to tell Photoshop where the displacement file is located. Expand the fx dropdown on the smart object layer, double click on Displace and click OK, then open the relevant displacement map file (either front or back) included with the download.
