Aged Film Photoshop Template

With the Aged Film Template for Photoshop you can instantly emulate an old film effect from any photo or graphic that you want. You just need to replace a single Smart Object for the image and the file will automatically apply the color tone, textures and different additional effects.

After updating the Smart Object, you can turn on/off the different adjustment layers, effects, textures, base effects and pick any color tone you want to fine tune the end result. The included PSD file has a resolution of 300 dpi with a dimension of 4800 x 3200 px in RGB color mode perfect to be used on your digital designs.

How to update the Smart Object

  1. Open the "Aged Film Template.psd" file in Photoshop.
  2. Double click on the "[Your Image Here]" Smart Object layer thumbnail.
  3. Replace the sample artwork with your own content.
  4. Save and close the Smart Object.

How to change the color tone

  1. Open the "Aged Film Template.psd" file in Photoshop.
  2. Expand the "Color Effects" layers group.
  3. Double click on the thumbnail of the "[Change Photo Tone]" layer.
  4. Pick any color from the Color Picker window and click OK.
